How can I help?
We welcome anyone joining us to lend a hand as we continue to develop our Orchard in 2024. We are a small friendly group and we are always looking for more volunteers to get involved and help with the development of the Orchard and keep it well maintained. Whether you only have half an hour to spare or more, every contribution is hugely appreciated.

Volunteer Help Outs for 2024
We will be holding Volunteer Help Outs regularly on Saturday mornings through the year - please check back for details as we continue to add dates. It will be a chance to visit the wonderful space and help in its development.

The Big Help Out national day of Volunteering is back again for 2024. This follows the success of the Big Help Out as part of the Coronation weekend celebrations in 2023,
We are being encouraged to lend a hand in our communities, so we decided to open the Orchard on Saturday 8th June to anyone who wants to take part and experience how rewarding volunteering can be. Save the Date and check back nearer the time for more details!

Share your skills
We are also looking for volunteers with skills in social media, updating websites, finance, graphic design, and organising events. Please do get in touch if you think you have skills which would help make our Community Orchard a wonderful space for the whole community.

Donate
We have been successful with funding to help towards the set-up costs of the Community Orchard but we still need to raise more. If you would like to donate towards the costs of setting up and maintaining the orchard, please get in touch.
