A compact walnut tree, suited to the UK climate. It starts producing nuts at a younger age than other varieties and has attractive bright green pinnate leaves. Walnuts usually start to be produced in the third to fourth year after planting. Walnuts can be harvested green for pickling or left until autumn to dry and store. Green catkins appear in spring, attracting early pollinators.
