Burcombe is a Cornish cherry variety, originating from Burcombe Farm in the Tamar valley of Cornwall. The cherries are soft and dark red / black in colour. It is a good choice for the mild damp climate of the south-west of England, as the cherries resist splitting caused by summer rain. Burcombe cherry blossom is white. Fruits ripen in late July and are suitable for eating and cooking
