Apple Day

Apple Day is the biggest day in the Community Orchard calendar & we will be celebrating with apple pressing and fun activities for all the family. No need to book just turn up!

Why not try your hand at the longest apple peel and try and knock the reigning champion off his pedestal. Have a go at finding the Lucky Ladybird or try your hand at Archery  - can you hit the apple target? There will be face painting and lots of traditional games for all the family.

Enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of delicious homemade apple cake, browse the Produce Stall and enjoy tasting some heritage apple varieties.

Have you got a glut of apples? Why not bring them along to be juiced. Every apple variety is different so the taste of your juice will reflect the fruit you bring. The riper the fruit the better.…
